What is ski storage?

Ski storage is a very practical service that allows you to leave your skis in the shop when you’re not using them. In short, instead of struggling to transport all your gear to your hotel or apartment, you can leave it in a secure storage area provided in the shop or in an annex building.

This service is often used to store skis or snowboards at the end of the day and collect them the next morning. However, you can also leave them for a full day if you have plans other than skiing on the slopes.

Note: ski storage and ski lockers are two different services. Ski lockers allow you to have a personal, locked locker, and this is a paid service (prices vary depending on the shop).

Why is opting for equipment storage a good idea?

Storing rented equipment (skis, snowboards, boots, poles, etc.) offers many benefits during your winter sports holiday:

How can you use the ski storage service?

For storage, as well as lockers, make sure the rental shop offers this service. If the store requires reservations, we recommend you book your place in the storage room, specifying the number of pairs of skis, boots, and/or snowboards involved.

Most of the time, this service is free or offered at a more affordable rate than ski lockers.
