Multiride, the ski rental service to vary pleasures
You've decided to rent your skis online, but when faced with the Equipment page, doubt sets in: do I need black or red category skis? Should I try snowboarding this year? Why not alternate between classic alpine skis and mini skis? Don't ask yourself these kinds of questions anymore: opt for the Multiride service, which allows you to enjoy several pieces of equipment for the entire duration of your rental. We explain how this option works and the possibilities it offers you to experience a maximum of winter sports during your vacation!
What is Ekosport-Rent's Multiride service?
Multiride is an option offered with your ski rental, allowing you to try several different types of equipment during your stay, by making a single online reservation.
Thus, if you rent, for example, black category skis (experienced skier level), you will be able, on 2 occasions, to come exchange this equipment in-store for mini skis, freestyle skis, or a red or black category snowboard. Several conditions are required for this complementary service to be available:
The duration of your ski rental must be 6 days or more ;
Equipment change is limited to twice per rental (in other words, you will be able to access 3 different types of equipment, or return to the initial equipment after changing once);
Eligible equipment includes alpine skis, mini skis, freestyle skis, free rando skis, freeride skis, and snowboards ;
You can only replace your initial equipment with equipment of equal or lower category (e.g., if the online rental concerns a red snowboard, you cannot claim Premium category skis, but you can choose red skis and/or mini skis).
Who is Multiride for?
Provided the preceding conditions are met, each customer can subscribe to Multiride, for adult or junior equipment (child aged approximately 6 to 13). This is an option offered by our stores, which therefore gives you the opportunity to practice several snow sports with ease, and without any additional cost or extra steps. The price varies depending on the stores. It is indicated when adding the product to the cart (per skier).
We can recommend Multiride in the following situations:
You, or your child, don't yet know which snow sport you prefer, and you want to try both snowboarding and skiing;
You are a good skier, but you would like to take snowboarding lessons to discover new sensations (or vice versa);
You are an experienced skier who enjoys both on-piste skiing and exploring the area during freeride and ski touring outings;
You want to have fun at the snowpark for a day or two with equipment adapted for freestyle, but you also want to practice skiing or snowboarding on piste during the rest of your stay;
You have an 'in-between' level and don't know which ski or snowboard category to choose: you can opt for the higher category, and return to the lower category, generally more forgiving, if the initial equipment is too demanding for you.
How to change equipment during your stay?
To subscribe to multiride, as with other rental services (ski insurance, Click & Collect, etc.), everything happens during the online reservation. After adding your equipment to the rental cart, the multiride service will be offered: you just have to click and it will be added to your order. You can then continue and pay for your rental online, totally or partially thanks to flexible payment, without forgetting to enter a promo code if you have one.
Once there, after picking up the initially rented equipment, you just need to go to the store to exchange it for another eligible equipment, available in store. Indeed, while all Ekosport-Rent sports stores offer multiride, they do not all have the same range of products available for rent. Inquire about the available equipment before adding Multiride to your services.
