Cookie Policy
The company uses cookies and other trackers or similar technologies (hereinafter “cookies”) on the site. These may be installed in the user's browser subject to the choices and options that the latter has expressed or may express at any time in accordance with this policy.
1. WHAT IS A COOKIE?
Cookies are small files, usually consisting of letters and numbers, placed by a web server in a user’s browser to send status information to that browser and, likewise, to receive such information in return from the browser. There are different types of cookies:
session cookies, which are deleted as soon as the user closes their browser or leaves the website;
persistent cookies, which remain until their lifetime or validity period expires, or until the user deletes them, for example using their browser’s settings.

The placement of certain cookies is subject to the user's consent. Cookies subject to such consent are only placed if the user accepts them by continuing to browse to another page of the site or by clicking OK.
4. DELETING AND/OR REFUSING COOKIES
Users have several options for deleting and/or refusing cookies and other trackers or similar technologies.
4.1 BROWSER SETTINGS
Although most browsers are set by default to accept cookies, users may, if they wish, choose to accept all cookies, to systematically reject them, or to choose which ones to accept according to who issues them.
Users may also configure their browser (a step to be repeated on each device: tablets, smartphones, computers, etc.) to accept or refuse cookies on a case-by-case basis before they are placed. They may also regularly delete cookies from their device via their browser.
The configuration for managing cookies and user choices differs from one browser to another. It is described in the browser's help menu, which tells users how to change their cookie preferences. For example:
for Internet Explorer™: here;
for Edge: here;
for Safari™: here and here;
for Chrome™: here;
for Firefox™: here;
for Opera™: here.
Users may also consult the CNIL guide available at: https://www.cnil.fr/fr/cookies-les-outils-pour-les-maitriser.
Users can therefore configure their browser to refuse cookies. In this regard, users' attention is drawn to the fact that by configuring their browser to refuse cookies, certain features, pages or areas of the site may not be accessible, for which the company cannot be held responsible.
4.2 SITE MODULE
Our site also offers, below, a cookie management module allowing users to accept or refuse cookies. Manage your cookie preferences.
4.3 OPT-OUT FROM PIANO ANALYTICS AUDIENCE MEASUREMENT COOKIES
The opt-out option provided by our Piano Analytics tool allows you to exclude your browsing data on the sport2000.fr site from the Piano Analytics audience measurement tool, which collects statistical data.
To activate this option, you must first accept the Piano Analytics opt-out cookie. This acceptance ensures that your deactivation request is recognised and remembered each time you visit the sport2000.fr site using the Piano Analytics audience measurement tool. This option will only apply to the browser on which the opt-out cookie is placed.
If you do not accept this cookie, if you delete it later, or if you visit our sport2000.fr site in private browsing mode, we will not be able to detect your request and we will continue to collect data on your browsing.
I understand that, once this option is activated, I will be counted as a user who refuses to be measured and that my browsing data will be excluded from the data reported by Piano Analytics.
I understand that, once this option is reactivated, a new Piano Analytics cookie is placed to allow audience measurement data to be collected on the sport2000.fr site using the Piano Analytics audience measurement tool.
Select your option: OPT-OUT OPTION / OPT-IN OPTION (buttons)
MANAGE YOUR COOKIE PREFERENCES
Some features of this site rely on services provided by third parties. These features place cookies that allow those sites to track your browsing for audience measurement, commercial prospecting and social network sharing purposes.
4.4 COOKIE PROVIDERS' OPT-OUT MODULES
Some of the cookie providers we use on our site offer dedicated opt-out modules. Users are therefore advised to read the information pages referenced in the tables above (see the details of the cookies we use) in order to identify these modules where applicable.
For example, users can find specific information on the Google Analytics deactivation add-on at:
https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/181881?hl=fr&ref_topic=2919631. They may also choose to deactivate Google Analytics cookies directly by going to the following page: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
4.5 OPT-OUT PLATFORMS
Several platforms run by advertising professionals also allow users to refuse or accept cookies used by their member companies. These centralised mechanisms do not block the display of ads but prevent the placement of cookies that adapt ads to the user's interests.
Users can, for example, visit www.youronlinechoices.com to prevent these cookies from being placed on their device. This site is provided by digital advertising professionals grouped within the European association EDAA (European Digital Advertising Alliance) and is managed in France by Interactive Advertising Bureau France.
Users will thus be able to find out which companies are registered on this platform and offer the option to refuse or accept the cookies they use to tailor the ads that may be displayed on the user's device based on their browsing information: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/fr/controler-ses-cookies/
This European platform is shared by hundreds of online advertising professionals and provides a centralised interface allowing users to express their refusal or acceptance of cookies that may be used to tailor the ads displayed based on their browsing on their device.
